I believe in our collective ability to create a world where each of us is truly liberated.
I believe that this starts in the self, and that it spreads through connection.
I am a facilitator, organizer, immigrant rights advocate, and aspiring healer living on occupied Ohlone land, also known as Oakland, CA. I am white, middle-class, queer, cis, and femme, and I love *many* things, including colorful jewelry, dogs, being in nature, dancing, writing, deep conversations, “bad” TV, and an excess of glitter. I am a student of joy and healing, and I am learning to let the deep knowledges of the body and the earth lead me in this journey to grow a better world.
I graduated with honors from Wesleyan University with a double major in sociology and Latin American studies in 2017. While I still absolutely ADORE school, I discovered during my time in college that while academia introduced me to many systems of social oppression, it did little to provide me with the tools I needed to help overturn those systems. Since realizing this, I have been on a journey to understand how social change happens, and to discover where my place in that change can be. I have met so many incredible and influential people throughout this journey, and I have learned so much in the past three years about what it means to heal, to grow, to start over, to build connections, and to look inward for answers that I thought I would find by looking outward.
I am in a period of my life of deep learning, and deep leaning into embodied experiences and joy. I am learning that I am magic, and that I can help others to learn that they are magic, too. I am finding my paths, my people, and my center in this life, and I am growing in my desire to discover what my healing gifts are and how I may share them. My dream is to make the revolution irresistible to as many people as possible through empowerment, healing work, joy, and a little bit of magic.
I hope you’ll join me. 🧜🏻♀️🌀✨
